From June 26 to 28, one of the most influential international events in the global ICT, the 2024 MWC·Shanghai (Mobile World Congress·Shanghai), was held grandly, attracting industry leaders, pioneering enterprises, and tens of thousands of professional visitors from over 100 countries and regions. Currently, cutting-edge technologies represented by AI, big data, and computing force networks drive hundreds of industries toward the deep waters of digital transformation. Executives Participate in a Series of Events, Conveying AsiaInfo's Voice

 

 During the conference, several executives from AsiaInfo were invited to attend related forum activities.

 

On the 26th, Dr. Tian Suning was invited to attend the Conclave of the “Sixth Digital Leaders Program” hosted by GSMA, where he joined President of GSMA Mats Granryd, Board Chairman of WBBA (World Broadband Association) Li Zhengmao, General Manager of China Mobile He Biao, General Manager of China Telecom Liang Baojun, General Manager of China Unicom Jian Qin, renowned Host Yang Lan, as well as executives from Huawei, ZTE, Siemens, and other domestic and international enterprises, to discuss the path of transformation in the digital intelligence era.


Dr. Ouyang Ye, CTO and Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo and IEEE Fellow was invited to attend the release ceremony of China Mobile's white paper titled “New Computing Frontiers Enabling Converged Mobile Computility Networks.” He jointly unveiled the “6G Computility Network Partnership Program” with Deputy Director of China Mobile Research Institute Duan Xiaodong and executives from Intel, ZTE, Inspur, and other enterprises.

On the 27th, Liang Bin, Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo attended the signing ceremony of China Mobile International's cooperation agreement, co-signing a memorandum of cooperation in the energy business with the Chairman and CEO of China Mobile International Wang Hua.

 Ouyang Ye was invited to participate in the Network Development and Security Forum hosted by China Mobile, joining hands with Deputy General Manager Li Huidi of China Mobile and executives from ZTE and Nokia-sbell, etc., to announce “Innovative Achievements in China Mobile's Network Digital Intelligence Transformation.” He also delivered a keynote speech titled “AN CoPilot Accelerates the Evolution to L4 Autonomous Networks.” He stated that applying big model technologies in autonomous networks is becoming increasingly widespread. As an accelerator and catalyst, AsiaInfo's AN CoPilot is assisting China Mobile in accelerating its autonomous network evolution towards L4 level. 6.jpg

Ouyang Ye was also invited to speak at China Unicom's Open Gateway and Digital Intelligence Integration Forum, presenting a keynote speech titled “Preliminary Exploration of Private 5G Capability Openness for Open Gateway.” He believed that with the increasing number of commercial cases for 5G private networks, especially the deployment of 5G virtual private networks (i.e., network slicing), opening up 5G private network capabilities is crucial for customers' digital intelligence transformation. Based on Open Gateway, AsiaInfo has explored and analyzed the opening up of 5G private network capabilities. On the basis of existing 5G network slicing activating APIs, it has proposed 5G LAN and TSN capability activating APIs, effectively enhancing the support of 5G network slicing for digital intelligence applications in vertical industries. 8.jpg

Ouyang Ye was invited to participate in the “How Can Private 5G & Network and Network Slicing Enhance Connectivity Together” Forum hosted by GSMA, delivering a keynote speech titled “What's the Next Private 5G?” He stated that the next-generation P5G will serve as a new-generation AI-Native PNG integrating enterprise-level connectivity, sensing, intelligence, computing, and applications, empowering enterprises to achieve comprehensive digital intelligence.

Wang Zhuyong, Vice President of AsiaInfo was invited to attend the “AI Empowering Cloud And Broadband Excellence: Opportunities Vs Challenges” Forum and the 2024 Shanghai WBBA Broadband Development Conference, engaging in deep discussions with industry leaders on how AI carries out revolution on cloud computing and broadband technologies.

 

On the 28th, Ouyang Ye attended the GSMA forum titled “What's Next Frontier for Cloud?” discussing with NOKIA's Chief Mobile Network Solutions Architect and CHO Brian, Intel China's CTO of Network and Edge Division Zhang Yu, etc., the impact of AI on cloud infrastructure and networks, as well as future development trends.

In addition, Li Zhao, an expert in energy industry from AsiaInfo, attended the forum “Hand in Hand for a Promising Future: Jointly Charting a New Chapter for Enterprises” and delivered a keynote speech titled “5G Private Network for Power Industry: Paving the Way for Smart Plant Construction.” Expert Lv Peng participated in the China Mobile International “Hand in Hand for a Promising Future: Jointly Charting a New Chapter for Enterprises” Overseas Forum, and he also attended the Industrial 5G Terminal Industry Development Forum, delivering a keynote speech titled “From Connection to Empowerment: The Integration of Industrial 5G Terminals and Private Networks,” sharing innovative practices in industrial 5G private networks. Expert Zhu Jun attended the GSMA forum “How Generative AI is Transforming the Telecoms Industry,” sharing AsiaInfo's business practices of leveraging communication AI to help communication operators reduce costs and increase efficiency.

 

During the conference, AsiaInfo was honored with the “Best Innovative Application in Digital Operation 2024” award from the Communication World and the “Editor's Choice” award from the Communications Weekly. Additionally, iDigital, a subsidiary of AsiaInfo, won the “New Quality Recommendation” award in the information and communication industry for 2024.
