On the 16th, AsiaInfo held a product launch conference for the “YuanSi” industry big model in Beijing, which officially unveiled of the company’s new general AI and cognitive enhancement platform, TAC MaaS, as well as three industry big models and eight cognitive enhancement tools. This announcement signified that AsiaInfo has entered the fast track of empowering vertical industries based on “full-stack AI”.

In his speech, Gao Nianshu, CEO and Executive Director of AsiaInfo, highlighted the rapid advancement of big model, particularly in the To C field. As he identified, however, there are also several gaps between universal big models and industry applications, such as the lack of unified takeover, leading to repeated construction, and the lack of rapid implementation methods and tools, which have become significant obstacles to the widespread application of big models.

Gao Nianshu stated that AsiaInfo is dedicated to building a bond and bridge between universal models and industry applications through its capabilities in system planning, data acquisition and processing, system integration, business understanding, data privacy protection, etc.

He further elaborated that, with 31 years of experience in numerous projects, AsiaInfo has taken into account factors like “industry-specific, data security, continuous iteration, and comprehensive cost” based on real-world scenarios in vertical industries such as telecommunications, government affairs, energy sources, and transportation, focused on three levels - “platform, model, and tools” - to establish an XGPT product system for industry cognitive enhancement, which involves building one big model capability foundation, training M industry-specific models for specific industries, and providing N out-of-the-box cognitive enhancement tools.

Gao Nianshu expressed that AsiaInfo will continue to actively participate in the development and improvement of artificial intelligence technologies, constantly conduct experiments, and promote the innovative applications of big model technology in enterprise businesses. In addition, AsiaInfo will collaborate with partners on the “product + service” model to accelerate the empowerment of enterprise applications and jointly explore the limitless possibilities of artificial intelligence.
