The 2024 ZGC Forum Annual Conference, themed “Innovating for a Better World” event commenced in Beijing on April 25th. Ding Xuexiang, Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and inspected the permanent exhibition at the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center after the ceremony, engaging with scientists and engineers. Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, also participated in relevant activities. 

AsiaInfo was invited to participate in a number of activities, such as exhibitions and presentations, the 6G Innovation Forum, and the Innovation Development Matchmaking Meeting. 

AsiaInfo Joined as the First Batch of Member Units of the 6G Communication-Sensing-Computing-Intelligence Integrated Innovation Platform 

On April 27, the 6G Innovation and Development Forum, hosted by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, and the People's Government of Haidian District, Beijing, and jointly organized by ZGC Institute of Ubiquitous-X Innovation and Applications (hereinafter referred to as “ZGC X-NET”), China Mobile Research Institute, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and TDIA (Beijing Telecommunication Development Industry Alliance), was successfully held at ZGC International Center for Science & Technology Innovation. 

At the forum, the “6G Communication-Sensing-Computing-Intelligence Integrated Innovation Platform” was officially unveiled. As one of the inaugural members of the innovation platform, AsiaInfo, together with representatives from ZGC X-NET, China Mobile, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, CICT Mobile, vivo, Phytium, Lenovo, and Inspur, witnessed the official establishment of the platform.

As the foundation of the future information society, 6G technology offers limitless possibilities and expectations. The establishment of the integrated innovation platform aims to better integrate communication-sensing-computing-intelligence technologies into the 6G platform of the ZGC X-NET platform, fully leverage the industrial advantages of partners from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated region and beyond, and jointly promote the research and development of 6G communication-sensing-computing-intelligence technologies. 

Ye Xiaozhou, Chief Scientist of AsiaInfo, stated that AsiaInfo has already made early arrangements and explored 12 potential key technologies of 6G OSS, such as air-space-ground integrated network orchestration, distributed autonomy and collaboration based on air-space-ground and synesthesia integration, endogenous intelligence and capability openness, and accordingly proposed the technical and functional architecture of 6G OSS as well as the system evolution route of 5G OSS to 6G OSS. AsiaInfo hopes to leverage the integrated innovation platform to collaborate with industry partners to promote the continuous evolution of 6G OSS and autonomous network. 

AsiaInfo Anhui: Comprehensive Empowerment of Industry Customers through Hyper-converged Architecture 

On April 28th, AsiaInfo was invited to participate in the Large, Medium, and Small Enterprises Integration and Innovation Development Matchmaking Meeting at the 2024 ZGC Technology Trade Fair of the ZGC Forum. Yu Dan, Deputy General Manager of AsiaInfo Anhui Ecosystem, delivered a speech.

Founded in 2008, AsiaInfo's AntDB has product features such as high performance, elastic scalability, and high reliability with a capability of handling millions of core communication transactions per second at peak values, ensuring the stable and continuous operation of the system for nearly 16 years, and has been successfully commercialized in over 300 projects in industries such as communications, finance, transportation, energy sources, and the IoT. In recent years, AsiaInfo has taken the lead in proposing a “hyper-converged” framework, which has upgraded the technologies and products of AntDB. 

According to Yu Dan, AsiaInfo is seeking to collaborate with partners from upstream and downstream ecosystem to provide comprehensive empowerment to large and medium-sized customers across industries. 

AsiaInfo's Network and Intelligence Products Will Have a “Permanent Presence” at the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center 

This ZGC Forum has established a “Permanent Exhibition” area, which focused on the “four orientations” as its main theme. The forum invited research institutions and enterprises in Beijing to showcase major technologies and product achievements in cutting-edge technology fields such as artificial intelligence and quantum information, demonstrating the progress and achievements of Beijing International Sci-tech Innovation Center. 

AsiaInfo's 5G private network products and edge intelligence products have been invited to participate in the exhibition and will be “permanently stationed” here. 

AsiaInfo's 5G private network products represent an integrated hardware-software product system encompassing 5G base stations, core networks, edge computing platforms, private network intelligent connectivity products, CPEs, and operation platforms. It offers end-to-end full-stack services, including planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and integration of 5G private networks for vertical industries. 

The edge intelligence products, which are centered around integrated hardware-software edge intelligent devices, utilize AI technology to perceive real-time changes in people, the environment, and equipment in customers' business scenarios. They are able to promptly identify potential hazards in production and operation processes, thereby reducing customers' management costs, enhancing work efficiency, and ensuring the safety of the production process.
