Recently, in order to encourage all sectors of society to be aware of the value of “data assets” and boost the application of data technology and industrial prosperity, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and China Communications Standards Association held the Data Asset Management Conference 2023 in Beijing and presented awards to the leading enterprises. The projects of data assets management and database that AsiaInfo has helped China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Broadcast Network build stood out from hundreds of cases and won many awards of the Benchmark Cases and Excellent Cases of the Big Data “Galaxy”. Based on the perfect product and service system, AsiaInfo has been selected into the two major industry maps of “Data Elements” and “Data-based Governance”.

Multiple “Benchmark” and “Excellent” Cases

  Holding a Leading Position in the Industry! Based on the Fact that AsiaInfo Completed the Domestic Replacement of the CRM Database, Zhejiang Mobile Has Created a “Benchmark Case”

CRM is the hard core of the business support system of communication operators. The replacement of its database system often faces many challenges such as “involving a wide range of users, having a great impact on businesses, and leading a complex handover process”. In 2023, Zhejiang Mobile applied AsiaInfo's AntDB and took the lead in completing the replacement of the multidomain database of the CRM system. Because AntDB was highly compatible with foreign databases, Zhejiang Mobile has saved a lot of data migration costs. After the migration, the performance of the database has been improved by 13% compared with the previous condition, and it continued to run smoothly. The success of this project has accumulated a systematic methodology for the replacement of core software and hardware for large enterprise customers in communication and other industries.

  AsiaInfo Helped Sichuan Telecom Enhance Its Data Full Life Circle Management Capability and Was Awarded as an “Excellent Case”

Focusing on the full life circle of data resources, Sichuan Telecom has joined hands with AsiaInfo to create a “one-stop” operation management platform for data assets. Such a platform has effectively solved the problems such as “scattered data-based governance capabilities, long governance process chain, and insufficient data resource productization capabilities”. At present, 188 types of services have been connected to the platform, and the data processing and delivery time has been shortened from an average of 30 days to 1 day. The data compliance process of a single system can be completed in 1 hour, the wireless work order processing time has been reduced from 41 hours to 21 hours, and the OLT fault processing time has been shortened from 39 hours to 3 hours... Sichuan Telecom has ranked first in the industry list of “Network Service Satisfaction” in 2022 and the group customer service indicator assessment.

AntDB Helped China Broadcast Network Build a 5G Core Business Database System from Scratch and Was Selected into an “Excellent Cases”

As a new communication business operator, China Broadcast Network has experienced from “none” to “yes” of its 5G core business support system, in which the database system has been built based on AsiaInfo's AntDB, which has been running smoothly and efficiently for more than one year since its launch, ensuring the comprehensive development of 5G businesses and high-quality customer services in all provinces. This project was another successful exploration of domestic databases in the communication industry and set a good model example for the replacement of software and hardware in key industries.

AsiaInfo Was Selected into the Two Major Industry Maps Based on Its “Full-stack” Data Service Capability

In order to further sort out the distribution of data elements in China, gain insight into the development tendency of the industry, explore and release the values of data elements, and improve the data-based governance system, the conference has released “Data Elements Industry Map 1.0” and “Data-based Governance Industry Map 2.0”. With the relatively complete big data products and service systems covering the full life circle of data as well as rich industry practices, AsiaInfo has been selected into all five sections of “data storage and computing, data-based governance, data circulation, data analysis and application, and data security” of relevant technology manufacturers in the “Data Elements” map, as well as “integrated data management platform, data development platform, data integration tools, consulting and implementing comprehensive services, communications” in the “Data-based Governance” map.
