Recently, the National Final of the Second “Dingxin Cup” Digital Transformation and Application Competition came to an end in Beijing. AsiaInfo successfully won one first prize, one second prize, three third prizes, and one industry benchmark award. 

The project of “Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone Smart Park (Phase II)” won two honors 

On the track of “Industry Digital Convergence Direction-Smart Park”, Chongqing Shuzhi Luoji, an affiliated company of AsiaInfo, jointly cooperated with Chongqing Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone Construction Investment Development Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Mobile created a project of “Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone Smart Park (Phase II)”, which won the first prize and the industry benchmark award.

The project focused on the construction of a smart park platform and created “a new infrastructure base, a center, three major systems and Numerous applications”. As for the park governance, it was designed to sort out the business process of the information platform, reconstruct the management structure, and improve the efficiency of park operation and management; As for the sci-tech services, it provided policy services, technology display, industry incubation, and financial services for the units and departments in the park; As for smart planning and construction, an information platform for planning and construction has been built to provide information methods for park planning and design, construction management, contract measurement, and file management. 

After the implementation of the project, the operating cost of the park has been significantly reduced and the energy utilization rate has increased by 20%; The million-level IoT devices achieved efficient, highly reliable concurrent access and configurable management, and the great convergence of IoT data laid a solid foundation for the intelligent management of the park; Meanwhile, the economic benefits, agile values, customer values, innovation values, quality values and social values have been generally improved. 

“5G + Smart Thermal Power Digital Transformation Practice” Won the Second Prize 

On the track of “Industry Digital Convergence”, the project of “5G + Smart Thermal Power Digital Transformation Practice” jointly created by AsiaInfo, GD Power Shuangwei, China Energy Longyuan and China Mobile Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. won the second prize.

The Project of “5G + Smart Thermal Power Digital Transformation Practice” in Shanghai Temple complied with the overall architecture of “two platforms and three networks” of GD Power Smart Enterprise Construction Standardization and adopted the way with core networks sunk into the plant side to form an industry wireless network completely and physically isolated from the public network. Based on compatibility, openness, strong scalability, and data security, the project provided network support for the access of intelligent tools and equipment such as mobile applications, individual equipment, inspection robots, unmanned distribution vehicles, drones, and AR/VR of the whole plant, achieving the “whole coverage of 5G network without blind area and perfect operation without potential risks”. After the deployment, the network speed was increased by more than 5 times compared with the previous public network's, which helped to achieve key protection for the core area; What's more, dozens of 5G applications were supported with the finished project and the construction and operation efficiency has been greatly improved; This project provided a valuable reference for many application scenarios in power transmission and transformation and other sections in the power industry. 

The Track of Digital Native, Information Innovation and Business Convergence Won Three Third Prizes 

In addition, “Digital Transformation of Metaverse Business Hall Based on Digital Native”, “Digital Transformation Case of ecloud Customer Service Management System” and “Intelligent High-speed Data Convergence Platform Solutions Based on AntDB Database” jointly submitted by AsiaInfo and its partners won the third prize on three tracks, namely “Digital Native New Entity”, “Business Integration and Innovation”, and “Information Technology Application and Innovation”.

Guided by Dingxin and Set Sail with Digitalization

Jointly sponsored by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and the China Association of Communication Enterprises, the “Dingxin Cup” Digital Transformation and Application Competition aims to put the general requirements of “accelerating digital development and building Digital China” in the national “14th Five-Year Plan” into implementation and focuses on creating several demonstration cases of enterprise digital transformation and application with industry-leading and promotion effects. It is an influential national digital transformation and application competition in China. With the theme of “Guided by Dingxin and Set Sail with Digitalization”, this competition has set up 16 tracks in 6 directions and has gone through case collection, national finalist competition, popular case selection, and national final, which lasted for 5 months in all. During the case collection period, a total of 2,146 declared cases were received from more than 1,000 enterprises, research institutes, industry associations, government agencies and other units in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
