Recently, the China Mobile Global Partners Conference 2023 was grandly held in Guangzhou. Dr. Ouyang Ye, CTO and Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo was invited to attend the China Mobile Autonomous Networks Forum and delivered a keynote speech on “Preliminary Exploration on the Evolution of 6G OSS”.

Dr. Ouyang Ye said that the L5 level of autonomous networks was not equal to 6G OSS Ready. Facing the evolution of OSS in the 6G era, AsiaInfo has put forward five overall visions of 6G OSS based on the research status of 6G and the analysis of OSS standards of various standard organizations, such as “from network individual/single domain management to air-space-ground and symbiotic-sensing-computing integration management”, “from network intelligence management to network automation, intelligence and twin management” and “integrating environment, society and governance (ESG) into the 6G OSS capability system”, and explored 12 key technologies such as “6G OSS air-space-ground integrated network orchestration”, “distributed autonomy and collaboration based on air-space-ground and synesthesia integration”, “endogenous intelligence and capability openness”, and accordingly proposed a 6G OSS system functional architecture composed of core business functions, three major management functions and three closed-loop core capabilities, as well as a 5G OSS system evolution route to 6G, which provides a forward-looking approach for the development of the 6G mobile communication network management system. 

White Paper of 6G OSS/BSS Technology 

During the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, AsiaInfo, together with Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Broadcast Network, Intel and other partners from “industry, teaching, research and application,” jointly released the world's first White Paper on 6G OSS Technology and the White Paper on 6G BSS Technology, making an in-depth analysis of 6G OSS and BSS and pointing out the evolution and development direction.
