On August 30th, the 4th Science and Technology Week of China Mobile and the Conference on Joint Innovation and Development of Strategic Emerging Industries were held in Beijing. Yang Jie, Chairman of China Mobile, Dong Xin, General Manager, Gao Tongqing, Deputy General Manager, leaders of relevant departments such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Intellectual Property Office, as well as experts from all walks of life of industry, university and research and representatives of enterprises attended the conference. Tian Suning, co-founder and chairman of AsiaInfo, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the conference, and together with China Mobile and representatives from all walks of life of government, industry, university, and research, released the upgraded plan and map of the “Ten-Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand” partnership program.

Yang Jie said that in recent years, China Mobile has targeted the development orientation of a world-class information-services scientific and technological innovation company and achieved innovation breakthroughs in many fields, such as 5G, computing power network, and capability middle office. In addition, China Mobile has accelerated the layout construction in six major areas: cloud and computing power network, artificial intelligence, 6G, big data, capability middle office and security, continuously enhanced core competitiveness, given play to the synergistic leading role of 5G innovation consortium and industry chain director, and continued to promote the development and prosperity of strategic emerging industries. In the future, China Mobile will join hands with all parties to win a tough and prolonged battle against less innovated technologies, and contribute to building a new development pattern of services and promoting Chinese-style modernization.

At the releasing ceremony of the upgraded plan and map of the “Ten-Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand” partnership program, Dong Xin said that China Mobile has firmly fulfilled the “Three Responsibilities” of central government-owned enterprise, played the “Three Major Roles”, bravely shouldered the responsibility of the modern industry chain director of mobile information, launched the “Ten-Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand” (that is, around the “Ten” key areas, to call together “Hundred” core chain enterprises, cooperate with “Thousand” chain enterprises, and attract “Ten Hundred” chain ecological cooperation enterprises) partner chain-entry initiative, and carried out a series of effective work with all walks of life of the industry. China Mobile will take the development of strategic emerging industries as its goal, give full play to the innovation main body and integration and promotion leading role of central enterprises, comprehensively upgrade the “Ten-Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand” partnership program, join hands with all parties in the industry to shape, maintain and strengthen the chain, accelerate the construction of a community with a win-win industry chain, and help to improve China's industrial basic capability and modernization level.
