On the morning of September 24, the kick-off meeting of 2020 Database Adaptation Verification Center Project of MIIT, which is led by China Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team, was held in Beijing. Lv Jian, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CICS-CERT, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Wei, the Deputy Director of Evaluation Laboratory, presided over the meeting, and dozens of experts, scholars like Du Xiaoyong (professor of School of Information, Renmin University of China), and representatives of leading companies in various industries attended the meeting. As representatives of domestic database products or related industries, AsiaInfo, Ant Financial, Inspur Electronics, East China Normal University and other units have deeply participated in the relevant work of the project.
The “Database Adaptation Verification Center Project” is a core component of the “2020 Key Software Adaptation Verification Center Project” of MIIT, shouldering the responsibility of promoting the R&D innovation and industrial development of domestic databases. At the kick-off meeting, Lv Jian, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CICS-CERT, pointed out that “the project will be an opportunity to guide the upstream and downstream of the industry chain to strengthen collaboration, form a joint force, and explore driving the development of the database industry through scenario-based adaptation verification”. The “scenario-based adaptation” means that the verification work will be directly linked to actual applications, which will greatly promote the promotion and application of domestic databases.
In recent years, the transformation of business environment as well as the development and application of emerging technologies such as cloud computing and big data have stimulated the transformation and upgrading of IT architecture and business systems of enterprises in various industries. Application-oriented database products that are deeply adapted to actual business demands will provide strong support for the transformation and development of various industries.

AsiaInfo’s Distributed Database Product AISWare AntDB
AISWare AntDB, which has been independently developed by AsiaInfo Database Innovation Lab for many years, is a native distributed database product featured by scalable, multi-tenant, high-availability, high-performance, low-cost, independent and reliable, and business-transparent. Its architecture and system is highly stable. The product has successfully passed the distributed transaction database standard test organized by the Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and won the “PostgreSQL Annual Best Product” at the PostgresConf.CN2019 Conference held by the PostgreSQL branch in 2019.
