Recently, Zhengzhou Zhengmei Design Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhengzhou Coal Design") was officially launched in Zhengzhou through a joint investment by Zhengzhou Coal Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhengzhou Coal Industry Group"), AsiaInfo Technologies (China), Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "AsiaInfo"), and Henan Zhongshe Technology Partnership Enterprise (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongshe Technology"). The inaugural shareholders' meeting, board meeting, and company establishment ceremony was attended by Deng Wenpu, Deputy General Manager of Zhengzhou Coal Industry Group; Wang Qinglin, Vice President of AsiaInfo; and Han Yongqiang, Managing Partner of Zhongshe Technology.

With its headquarters in Henan and nationwide service reach, Zhengzhou Coal Design specializes in core businesses such as mine technical services, intelligent mine construction, green mining technology research, and EPC for mines. The company aims to provide high-quality design consulting and intelligent services to coal mine enterprises by adopting cutting-edge technologies, processes, and equipment. Additionally, the company will actively align with the national energy strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative, collaborating with partners to offer related services for mine projects across Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

During the ceremony, Deng Wenpu expressed his hope that Zhengzhou Coal Design will operate with standardization, laying a solid foundation for future development. He emphasized the importance of establishing a strong sense of rules, strictly enforcing legal documents, and safeguarding shareholders' interests. Deng called on all parties to take the company's growth and development as their responsibility, leveraging their complementary advantages in technology, resources, and applications to forge ahead and promote Zhengzhou Coal Design's integrated development, aiming to create a new future for "digital intelligence coal mines."

Wang Qinglin stated that Zhengzhou Coal Design marked AsiaInfo's first investment in the coal sector. AsiaInfo is eager to collaborate with Zhengzhou Coal Industry Group and Zhongshe Technology, delving deeply into research and focusing on intelligent applications across various scenarios in coal mines, setting industry benchmarks and promoting Zhengzhou Coal Design's vigorous development. Furthermore, AsiaInfo is willing to collaborate with Zhengzhou Coal Industry Group in sectors such as electricity, aluminium, building materials, and chemicals, fostering a long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial partnership to pave the way for a new pattern of high-quality development.

Han Yongqiang was elected as the Chairman of the joint venture. He assured the board of directors would diligently implement meeting resolutions, establish and improve various systems, and actively promote market expansion to ensure the company's sustained, healthy, and rapid development.
