According to the strategic cooperation agreement, both parties will carry out comprehensive and in-depth strategic cooperation based on businesses such as “5G private networks for the energy sources and power sectors” and work together to expand international markets. The cooperation includes, but is not limited to, jointly developing intelligent power solutions based on 5G technology, promoting digital transformation of the power industry, helping customers to enhance power operational efficiency and reliability, optimizing the allocation of power resources, and leveraging technological innovations to bring more efficient and intelligent services to the power sector. Both parties will also start a new chapter of cooperation in Africa and Southeast Asia.

Wang Hua noted that CMI, with its global reach, boasts extensive network resources and a vast customer base, providing comprehensive international information services and high-quality solutions to enterprises, service providers, and individual users worldwide. Currently, CMI has established extensive partnerships with 1,100 overseas local service providers and can serve as a “general consultant,” collaborating with overseas eco-partners to offer one-stop, multi-faceted support for domestic enterprises aiming to “Go Global.” It is hoped that this signing would serve as an opportunity for both parties to collaborate closely in product and solution innovation, international market expansion, etc., setting another example for Chinese enterprises going global.

Liang Bin emphasized that as a leading provider of information technology products and services, AsiaInfo is firmly implementing its “Four Transformations” business strategy, which includes equal emphasis on international and domestic markets. With years of deep involvement in the energy industry, AsiaInfo has independently developed a series of 5G products characterized by high cost performance, minimal deployment and operation complexity, adaptability to industry-specific needs, and strong capabilities in “integration between business and network.” These products offer end-to-end “one-stop” services to energy industry customers, covering consulting and planning, engineering construction, network optimization, and operation and maintenance management.

Through this cooperation, AsiaInfo's rich domestic experience in 4G/5G private network projects in the energy sources and power sectors, combined with CMI's proven expertise in expanding overseas markets, is expected to generate a powerful polymerization effect, bearing fruitful results in overseas markets and making more significant contributions to the digitization of the global energy industry.
