In 2019, relevant ministries and commissions of China proposed to “cancel expressway provincial boundary toll stations within two years” to achieve fast toll collection without stopping, reduce congestion and facilitate the people. This requires the provincial highway billing system to be networked and data shared with the center of the Ministry of Transport. To this end, the Yunnan Provincial Expressway Operation and Management Center has started an all-round upgrade of the clearing and settlement system.
The database stores the data of thousands of vehicles on high-speed passage and the operation and management of road administration units, and the settlement of various highway fees, refund and payment, expansion transactions and even dispute handling all depend on the information support of the database. “Highway Clearing and Settlement System” is responsible for storing and processing all kinds of transaction flows issued by the toll collection system, accounting information issued by the departmental center, etc., and generating clearing and settlement data, which is a typical HTAP (online transaction and online analysis) scenario and has extremely high requirements for the OLTP (online transaction processing) and OLAP (online analysis and processing) capabilities of the database. At the same time, import and export of massive data, access and process association of huge and complex system, data migration and business support in a short time...
