Recently, with the approval by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China’s first series of industry standards for the “interworking framework for privacy-preserving computation” were officially released, and will take effect on October 1. The standards were developed with the contributions from renowned companies including AsiaInfo Technologies, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile, Baidu, and Ant Group under the leadership of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. They provide comprehensive guidelines for the construction of privacy-preserving computation platforms and the interworking of industries, covering dimensions such as “overall framework”, “communication requirements”, “interconnection protocols”, and “application requirements”.
