On the afternoon of November 11, 2024, Liu Feng, Vice President of China National Coal Association and Chairman of China Coal Society, and his delegation visited AsiaInfo Technologies (China), Inc. as guests. Chen Wu, Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo and General Manager of the Public and Government Affairs Center, and Fu Wei, Vice President of AsiaInfo and General Manager of the Cloud Business Unit, accompanied them.

Liu Feng and his delegation first toured the AsiaInfo Innovation Exhibition Center, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company's 31-year development journey. They attentively listened to presentations on the company's technological and product innovations in areas such as artificial intelligence, 5G/6G, big data, databases, and digital-intelligence operations, as well as typical solutions and benchmark cases for empowering the digital intelligence transformation of industries such as communications, government affairs, energy sources, transportation, broadcasting and television, finance, and healthcare. They experienced up close a series of transformation practices that integrated knowledge and practice in digital intelligence transformation and attended the “In-depth Discussion and Exchange Meeting on the Intelligence of Coal and Power Industries.” During the meeting, AsiaInfo shared its integrated software-hardware solutions for communication-sensing-computing-intelligence approach oriented towards 5G-A&6G and application solutions for industry foundation model in the coal industry. Alibaba Cloud shared its self-developed and full-stack big model system and integrated 5G&data-center solutions. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on digital intelligence transformation, integrated software-hardware solutions for communication-sensing-computing-intelligence approach, and coal industry foundation model solutions.

During the discussion, Liu Feng pointed out that the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council attach great importance to digitalization affairs. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee has put forward a series of strategic, forward-looking, and innovative important expositions surrounding the strategy for building an Internet power, the big data strategy, the development of the digital economy, and digital reform, profoundly elucidating the trends and rules of digitalization development and outlining a grand blueprint for a digital China. Liu Feng anticipated that through the strong collaboration between AsiaInfo and Alibaba Cloud in the future, they will be able to leverage their respective strengths in deepening cooperation in the coal sector, with industry empowerment as their distinguishing feature, fully applying digital intelligence technologies such as 5G, cloud computing, AI, big data, and the IoT to the coal industry, jointly tapping into coal enterprises' digital intelligence potential and creating and sharing digital intelligence values. Fellows from the Science and Technology Development Department and the Consulting Center of the association also participated in the inspection, discussion, and exchange events.

During the inspection, both parties discussed the details on standard operating procedures for coal mine positions, conducted in-depth exchanges, and conducted prospects on subsequent cooperation initiatives.
