During the 2024 MWC Shanghai exhibition, the “2024 Industrial 5G Terminal Industry Development Forum” hosted by Communications World was held in Shanghai. Lv Peng, R&D Director of 5G Network Products at AsiaInfo, was invited to the forum and delivered a keynote speech titled “From Connectivity to Empowerment: Practical Applications of Industrial 5G Terminals in Complex Scenarios.” 

Lv Peng stated that industrial 5G terminals operate generally in harsh environments in practical application scenarios, requiring extremely high network reliability. Such connectivity involves supports and converts of multiple proprietary protocols, necessitating flexible and comprehensive security measures and traffic management and control strategies. AsiaInfo addresses the needs of various scenarios by constructing a “5G Private Network Product Set” that includes industrial 5G CPE to support 5G private network construction across different industries, which has been deployed in sectors such as telecommunications, nuclear power, and wind power.
