On June 4th, Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and his delegation conducted a research trip in Changsha to investigate the development of the “information innovation” industry. They made a special visit to Hunan AsiaInfo to learn about product innovation, scenario application, market expansion, and other aspects. The research trip was attended by Li Dianxun, Deputy Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee; Wu Guiying, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee; Qin Guowen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary General; Cao Zhiqiang, Deputy Governor of Hunan Province, and other officials. Tian Suning, co-founder and chairman of AsiaInfo, hosted the reception, accompanied by Chen Wu, Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo, and Wang Li, General Manager of Hunan AsiaInfo Anhui.

At the Hunan AsiaInfo’s office area in Changsha CEC Software Park, Shen Xiaoming and his delegation, accompanied by Tian Suning and others, visited the AsiaInfo Changsha Exhibition Center and the “information innovation” R&D center. They have conducted a comprehensive and detailed understanding of AsiaInfo’s strengths, cutting-edge technologies, and management model. What’s more, they expressed congratulations to AsiaInfo on its development and achievements, and recognized the company’s enterprise spirit of continuous innovation and pursuit of excellence in fields such as information innovation.

Tian Suning introduced to Shen Xiaoming the 31-year development history of AsiaInfo and its current “end-to-end” full-stack digital intelligence capabilities, which cover consulting services, product R&D, product delivery, system integration, intelligent decision-making, data operation, and customer services. He stated that AsiaInfo is actively carrying out layout in both domestic and international markets, expanding its business presence in multiple aspects, and offering a diverse range of services to government affairs, telecommunications, energy sources, transportation, finance, and other industries.

Tian Suning further stated that in response to the national call and in alignment with Hunan Province’s “information innovation” industry development plan, AsiaInfo is committed to further innovation in databases, middleware, and other products. AsiaInfo has the capability and willingness to contribute further digital intelligence to the “information innovation” industry development and the transformation and upgrading of hundreds of industries in Hunan Province based on the company’s full-stack digital intelligence capabilities.

Wang Li presented the AsiaInfo’s “information innovation” layout and the research and development as well as market expansion of AsiaInfo Anhui’s AntDB “information innovation” database. The AntDB “information innovation” database, was first developed in 2008 and represents the first-generation main memory database in China. Over the past decade, AsiaInfo has consistently prioritized independent innovation and rapidly iterated its products through technological innovation, which has led to the current AntDB equipped with a leading “hyper-converged” architecture and efficient cross-business data integration processing capabilities that have been fully validated in the market. In the telecommunications industry, AntDB serves hundreds of millions of terminal users across nearly 30 provinces, cities, and regions nationwide, ensuring the safe and stable operation of business systems without any major safety accidents. Furthermore, AntDB is utilized extensively in government affairs, transportation, finance, energy sources, education, and other sectors.

Shen Xiaoming emphasized the significance of meticulously studying and implementing the key speeches and instructions of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, during his inspection tour in Hunan, adhering to scientific and technological innovation as a guiding principle and accelerating the concentrated development of the “information innovation” industrial cluster, so as to inject strong momentum into Hunan’s high-quality development.

He mentioned the importance of leveraging the leading role of industry leaders, continuously promoting product iteration and upgrading, constantly enriching and expanding application scenarios, advancing the development on industry chain’s strengthening, supplementing, and expanding, enhancing data infrastructure construction, promoting data openness and sharing, fully releasing data value, and contributing to optimizing the business environment.

Furthermore, he stated that Hunan’s “information innovation” industry has a solid foundation and advantages. It is crucial to fully recognize the significant importance of the development on the “information innovation” industry which should be regarded as an important subdivision for building a modern industrial system, promoting in-depth and high-quality development on “information innovation” industry around the whole province. We must highlight the principal position of enterprises in technological innovation, deepen the integration of industry, university, and research, tackle key problems on core technologies, and accelerate the transformation and application of sci-tech achievements. Also, we must vigorously promote the application of information technology and advance the deep integration between “information innovation” technology and relevant fields. Last but not least, we must increase policy support, give full play to the industry chain leadership system, strengthen factor guarantees system, introduce and cultivate more top talents, and comprehensively create a favorable industrial development ecosystem.
